The title of this blog seems a little morbid, but I couldn’t come up with anything better today. (Maybe its from staying up super late playing Heads Up with family). Anyways- we leave in less than 48 hours! Yesterday I went grocery shopping for our food and road trip snacks. It is a LOT more difficult to shop when you don’t have a constant cooling source (aka a fridge). Nevertheless, I feel confident in being able to make what we purchased work, and work well. We also took care of Parker’s car tuneup yesterday so we don’t end up calling AAA an hour into the trip. All is well, and it seems as if we have very minimal things leftunnamed to take care of. We are working on making our “road trip playlist” since we may not have the internet necessary for Pandora at all times throughout the trip. So far it’s a mix of Skillet and musicals…(can you guess which one of us chose what?)

We want to thank all of those who have prayed and who are continuing to pray for us as this journey has turned into something more than just vacation. To catch up with us, feel free to read through our previous blog posts here.

Also, here is the link if you would like to donate to our journey we are calling Trek USA. >
